Hearts for Kids Auction

The Kiwanis Club of Marietta began the annual tradition of a fundraising auction many years ago. The auction started as a dessert and baked goods auction and has grown to include a live auction, silent auction, and raffle baskets. The auction takes place during one of the weekly lunches typically around a holiday such as Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day to allow Kiwanians to find something to give to their sweetheart or mom and support Kiwanis children’s programs under CSI Marietta.

Past Hearts for Kids Auction and Fundraising Totals

In 2025 the committee, led by Billy King and Mindy Dondelinger, raised close to $10,000 and of course it was a lot of fun! Fellow Kiwanian Justin O’Dell used his auctioneer skills in the live auction for items such as sports tickets, art work, and purses. 

All Kiwanis committees are invited to bring a basket for auction and donations of silent auction items are encouraged from all members.
