Foundation Art Fund

The Club’s August 24, 2023, program was led by Marietta Kiwanis Foundation Art Fund Chairman, Ernie Wagoner.  The six grant recipients were each given time at the podium to tell the membership about how the art grant funds will be used by their organization.  Many thanks to our Art Fund Committee members for their work on identifying this year’s grant recipients.  Congratulations to:

  • Artz for the Harp
  • Friends of Kennesaw Mountain
  • Georgia Ballet
  • Gift of Music
  • Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art
  • The Strand Theatre

The grant must be used for children’s educational programming. Non-profit arts organizations that engage in educational work are eligible to apply for funding. Additionally, applicants must have had their 501(c)(3)designation for at least one year and be headquartered in Cobb County. Similar to past donations, the Kiwanis Foundation Arts Committee will review the applications and make recommendations to the Kiwanis Board who will make the final decision.
